Poultons Community Christmas
Poulton’s annual ‘Community Christmas’ was a festive affair back in December and everyone had a great time.
Local residents, Church leaders, school children, Poulton Neighbourhood Management and The Salvation Army Band gathered at the Poulton Arch in the park on Poulton Road and this year the Healthy Living Centre supplied some warm and tasty soup and mince pies to help fight off the frost bite!
There was carol singing accompanied by the Salvation Army Band and Christmas readings from local Churches as well as a children’s nativity tableau by the local primary school pupils from Poulton-le-Sands, St Mary’s and Morecambe Bay. The children also read a Christmas poem. This year, Morecambe High School also took part by narrating the Nativity. This event was organised by Poulton Neighbourhood Management.
