Poulton Primary Pupils in Bloom
Poulton Neighbourhood Management has approved a ‘quick response’ grant for £120 to Poulton-le-Sands Primary School for planters and flowers to create a peaceful oasis where the children can gather in the playground
.
The primary pupils have been learning how to look after the plants and they have been given the responsibility to take care of them.

Parents have also been involved in developing ideas and in the building of the pergola and the planters.
Hilda Adams, Poulton Neighbourhood Management Board Member said: “We are delighted to fund this project which provides the children with a lovely space to look at the colourful flowers which will look beautiful in the summer. The children have been involved in planting the flowers and so they will make sure it is well looked after.”
