Poulton Residents Successful in Spring Bloom Bid

image
Poulton Neighbourhood Management has granted £1,923.48 to Poulton Residents Association to ‘green up’ the neighbourhood.
Poulton Residents Association applied for a ‘quick response’ grant from Poulton Neighbourhood Management for planters, plants, bulbs, hanging baskets and equipment for litter picking.
The grant was successfully approved and Carol Edmunds, Poulton Neighbourhood Management Board Member said: “We are positive about the work that the Poulton Residents Association continues to do around the area which benefits all of the community by making our neighbourhood a more attractive place. We are delighted to help and we wish them every success in their efforts this summer.”

Free Sailing Sessions

Morecambe & Heysham Yacht Club are offering Poulton residents free taster sessions.
The sessions are open to any Poulton resident over the age of 14 years – but a dinghy is not a place for the faint hearted! No previous experience of sailing is necessary, just a keen interest is all that’s required.
