New And Upgraded Toilet Facilities For Morecambe Town Centre

Poulton Neighbourhood Management has put together a funding package in collaboration with Lancaster City Council to refurbish the Clock Tower toilets and to provide brand new toilet facilities at the Arndale Shopping Centre.

This is a long awaited project that will be most appreciated by visitors and residents alike.

These artist impressions show how the new facilities will look.

During the refurbishment the toilets at The Dome, the Festival Market and the bus station on Central Drive will be open as usual. The toilets will be built and maintained to the most modern standards and provide attractive facilities which will help considerably in the regeneration of the town.

Poulton Neighbourhood Management’s annual summer event to cheer up the shoppers is planned for Saturday July 15 th from 12 - 2pm. Live music will blast from Euston Square by a fantastic young band ‘Tantrum’ who impressed the crowds at last years event and are returning by popular demand.

Tantrum play a massive range of rock and blues songs from artists such as ZZ Top, BB King, and Jimi Hendrix - there will be something for everyone.

This is a free event and everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy the entertainment.

Last year was a massive success, feet were tapping, hands were clapping, and children were dancing to the music their parents enjoyed.
