Better Futures For All
Are you -
On Income Support?
Claiming Incapacity Benefit?
A lone parent?
and
Looking for work?
If you answer yes, there are two new free courses that can help.
‘Better Futures’ is a one-week starter course which helps to motivate, and build confidence and self-esteem, along with offering professional guidance on training and employment. The aim is to help adults develop a focus and structure for their goals.
Access for All is a more intense thirteen-week course which provides quality advice, mentoring, Basic Skills tuition, job brokering and develops skills in jobsearch.
Both projects are part-time to fit in with school hours and all travel expenses will be reimbursed.
These new projects are running throughout Lancashire where already individuals are developing their employment skills and finding work. Staff are supportive and are there to help every individual reach their potential.
Standguide Ltd, based at 83 Euston Road, is an established local training company. European Social Funding means that Standguide can help more individuals gain suitable and sustainable employment. The new courses started this year and are specially designed for Lone Parents on Income Support and individuals claiming Incapacity Benefit.
To find out more, call in at Morecambe Jobcentre, or phone Standguide free on 0800 587 5020.
