Poulton Pupils Learn The Value Of Money

Children in Poulton are being taught how to ‘look after the pennies’ by developing good savings habits with the recent launch of the ‘School Savings Club’.

Morecambe Bay Credit Union has recently launched the club at Morecambe Bay Primary School. Mums and Dads, Grandmas and Granddads are helping to run the club and have been trained by the local Credit Union.

Children receive a free goody-bag on joining the club and there are plenty of spaces left for new members.

Poulton-le-Sands Primary School also runs a ‘Junior Savings Club’ and new members are also welcome to join. Please telephone 411240 for more information about joining the club or call into the Credit Union office on Poulton Road.

Delivery Plan 2006 - 2007….

Along with the Poulton Community Times, you will have received the annual Delivery Plan produced by Poulton Neighbourhood Management. Our Delivery Plan sets out the details of how we will deliver Neighbourhood Management activity during 2006-07. It sets out our strategy and objectives and gives information on how we are achieving our aims.

This is a shortened version of the plan. If you would be interested in reading the more detailed version which includes information on evidence and targets, themes and interventions and much more, please contact the office. We hope that you take a moment to read the plan and take this opportunity to find out more about how Neighbourhood

Management is working to improve the area. If you have and questions, we will be happy to answer them.
