Poulton has addded two new murals to its collection over the last few months.

The mural on Edward Street representing the railway station that used to occupy this site has suffered many delays but has now had a coloured paint primer applied and is waiting for the coloured render to be applied over the top.

The latest mural on Poulton Road of an old woman cockling on the bay was an idea taken from a postcard and translated into the mural we can see today.

Local artist Patricia Haskey Knowles has designed and worked on the mural and it should be completed by Christmas if the work continues to stay on schedule.
